Introduction

Welcome to the Year of Hindsight 2020 journal. Here we are keeping track of the events of 2020.

Log

11 June 2020: Retrictions are being lifted gradually in countries that experienced the outbreak earliest, however, India and Africa are starting to really suffer.

4 Jun 2020: Now that the lockdowns are being lifted, there's a wonderful new product is on offer from Rogue Watches Canada, we are happy to recommend this new brand. It will help you track your outdoor activities as you get out and about.

7 May 2020: Countries are beginning to relax their covid-19 restrictions. Measures to curb the spread of coronavirus will be kept in place in Paris when the lockdown is eased in other parts of France, its PM says.

6 May 2020: More thoughts on the covid 19 crisis. It will be some time yet, perhaps a year or two hence, that we will be able to look back on 2020 and analyse what the most effective course of action against Covid 19 was. Will it have been Sweden's more liberal approach that was more reasonable after all? Did we re-open up for business too late or too early? Was the death rate really as high as earlier predictions, or were the skewed by incorrect reports of deaths being covid related.

5 May 2020: We found this website to have a resonable tracking of total cases worldwide: World Covid-19 cases tracker

1 May 2020: Update on Covid-19 status in Alberta, Canada. Yesterday the government of Alberta announced their phased stages for moving out of the current "lockdown" state of the province. The 14th of May 2020 will see a return of many small businesses, with the re-opening slated for that date. Some businesses, such as golf courses are immediately permitted to re-open, with some caveats around the pro-shop and club houses, of course.

23 April 2020: Feeling a bit down over the whole lockdown situation, then check out the new adventure van conversion website VillaVans.com to see what you can get up to once the lockdown has been lifted.
